The eSports Award is the most prestigious accolade available in eSports. The Award is designed to give athletes, teams, journalists and developers involved with eSports proper recognition for their work and sportsmanship. Only the best of the best are honoured with the prize. Players are nominated for specific achievements in single tournaments. In most categories, the final winners are determined by a jury, while the community choses the awards honoring achievements for the community. The winners are crowned at the end of August.

For the second time the communities all over the world will vote their “Regional eSports Player of the Year“. The “eSports Player of the Year“ award is subdivided into six regional awards: America, China, Korea, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Northern Europe.
