With the announcement of the fourth annual eSports Award comes a new website and many small and large changes. There will be plenty of new features, going hand in hand with the change in the nomination process. We will give you insight in how it works, and what you can expect in the coming months.
The largest change is the way, nominations are handed out. Players getting the nomination nod, are chosen based on their performance in individual tournaments. Thus, the international tournament circle gains major importance in the year-round coverage of the eSports Award. We take this into account by featuring an international event calendar, showing which tournaments relevant for the eSports Award are coming up next. So everyone knows which tourneys to watch closely, and scout the players for potential nomination candidates.
Of course, you can find all the information surrounding the
rules of the eSports Award,
categories,
award ceremony and the
four-year history of the eSports Award on this website. For the first time, in 2007 all votes for the categories decided by the community will be held on the eSports Award website.
Following in the next weeks is the start of our user registration system, picture galleries from past events as well as video material. Stay tuned!
