For the third time, the eSports Award recognizes the achievement of the Journalists. In the constant development of eSports as a whole, the classic press always played a significant role. Explaining the benefits and excitement of eSports to the masses is of utmost importance, if players and companies want to gain public approval. The authors of the 5 best journalistic articles of the past year are nominated, regardless of the original language.

On 23rd of August at 8 pm CET the winner of the Best Journalist Award will be honoured during the eSports Award Ceremony. At this ceremony the winners of eight other categories will be elected also. The awards for Best eSports Coverage and eSports Game of the Year will be decided by a community vote, which is still running.
